Try to connect in active mode.Is that working?
Windows firewall and and a decent amount of passive ports in a portrange is not an easy task.If you want people to be able to connect in passive mode, get another firewall that is easy to configure for that(able to set a portrange).

I have my both interfaces set to "Use a DNS service" with my domain name, and assigned each interface my local ip. The auto detect works flawless. Is it possible that your software firewall is blocking the request that makes it possible for the program to know the outside ip? Edit: In server manager...

If a connection cant be terminated via the program itself I recommend TCPview2.4 from http://www.sysinternals.com . That program is excellent in showing what ports are reallly opened by active programs. That way it's more easily to do research when having problems. It can also terminate active sessi...

Do your users use a ftp client supporting resume? It only works if both server and client have support for resume.
IE do not support resume.
Try Filezilla ftp client it supports resume and is free.

There is no limitation on down or upload speed.
There is no down or upload quota either.

Bandwidth limitation is something that is wished since long time. As far as I know we have not been given any specific time when that will be implemented, but the author have said he will look into it.
