In past, I have had to use compression utilities to help me transfer files in the face of this problem.

I find, not always successfully, that you have a much better chance if you try and transfer one large file as opposed to thousands of small files.

If I understand your post correctly, you are experiencing a problem that has been identified, however a fix has not been released. If you are using Windows XP, you could always use the taskkill command and the process ID or image name.

Syntax:

taskkill [/s Computer] [/u Domains\User] [/p Password] [/fi FilterName] [/pid ProcessID] [/im ImageName] [/f] [/t]

Setup the port forwarding feature on your router to forward ports 20-21 to the LAN address that your Cerberus Server is running on. Then access your FTP server from outside your network using your WAN IP address.

You access folders by setting up Virtual Root Directory's for each user that will be accessing your ftp server. This includes the anonymous account.

Configure this in Configuration ---> User Manager

Alphanatix If you grab a version of VNC previous to the latest release.. ie. 3.3.4 you can setup this version to work in a Java enabled web browser remotely without having to use VNC Viewer. Unfortunately, there are some security concerns which is why VNC changed this in the newest release. You can ...

You wouldn't use FTP software for that type of thing. VNC is a good solution... http://www.realvnc.com . However, VNC does not allow you to remotely execute applications as if it were running on your local computer. It does give you a window to use them on the remote PC. If you use an application ex...
