Import IP ranges

Hi all,
I'd like to be able to import a CIDR list of IP ranges to add to a blocklist. My server gets probed by Chinese IPs a fair amount, so I'd like to be able to import a list of Chinese IP ranges to block, rather than entering them manually.
Thanks and keep up the great work!

Re: Cannot connect to FTP server over SSL.

Port 989 and 990 refer to FTP over SSH, not FTP over SSL.
Cerberus doesn't support FTP over SSH, just FTP over implicit or explict TLS/SSL, so you just have to open port 21 and your PASV ports (11000-13000 by default).

Re: [RESOLVED] TLS problem with Cerberus FTP Server

Old post, but I'm getting this error with Cerberus 3.1.0.4 and Filezilla 3.3.1.
Not impeding anything, just wanted to give a heads up. I can post logs if need be.

Remote IP

Hi all, Hoping someone can help out with this. Cercerus is reporting the remote IP as the server's own IP in the connections tab, so the DoS/Intrustion prevention triggers aren't working. The log shows the request coming in from the correct remote IP, but it alwyas shows the server's IP in the conne...

Use a DNS Service

Hey, Wondered if someone could clarify this option in the PASV Options settings in the Server Manager. I *think* it will go out and check with a DNS service to determine the external IP, and I just need someone to confirm. Server's working fine when I set the external IP manually, but I'd like to ge...

AFAIK, that would be a feature request as it's not part of the newest version. Try posting again in the Suggestions forum.

You have Cerberus set to use active connections (indicated by the PORT command) and you have the router set up for passive connections. Passive would be a better idea, so it would be best to set Cerberus up to use the specified PASV ports.

IE isn't capable of handling FTP over SSL connections. Use an SSL capable client like FireFTP or Filezilla.

Did you try registering User32.dll?
It's also very possible that Cerberus isn't compatible with NT4.

Tornado, What I use is a DNS service (DynDNS) for my IP resolution. I have a client inside the network that checks to be sure my external IP is still correct, and if it's not it updates the DNS record. You can have Cerberus use this method as well, and it will check to be sure the name still resolve...
