Re: User and File Report generates SQL Error

It sounds like you are using SQL Server2012. You may want to install the ODBC driver 11 for SQL Server. If you are using SQL server you will want to install and use that driver. You will need to download the above mentioned driver and install it. There's a link to it on our Reporting page: https://w...

Re: User and File Report generates SQL Error

Hello Steve,

Are you running the latest 8.0.2 or 8.0.3 release?

What driver did you select for your report? You may want to install the ODBC driver 11 for SQL Server. If you are using SQL server you will want to install and use that driver.

Re: Is there a way to map LDAP users to Cerberus Groups via SOAP web services?

Yes and no. The short answer is there is no simple API call to perform that function. The longer answer is you can use the setAuthentication and getAuthentication calls to retrieve the authentication objects as an XML document. The XML document contains the mappings. You would need to use getAuthent...

Re: external IP addresses in File Access Reports for non-registered users

No. I don't have a timetable for including the IP for public shares at this time. It's a more complex issue than originally expected.

Re: Uploading folders in web interface

Just an added bonus for Chrome. Chrome is the only browser that provides the necessary APIs for folder uploads (it's really just a bunch of individual file uploads that include relative folder information), and only through drag & drop. No other web browsers natively support folder uploads. If they ...

Re: Android download issue over HTTPS

Hello Phil, The intermediate certificates are specified in the CA File field on the Security page in Cerberus. Most CAs provide a certificate bundle file which contains the intermediate root certificates for the signed certificate they provided you. You just need to assign that file as the CA File, ...

Unfortunately, there aren't separate delete permissions at this time. It's a single delete permissions that applies to both files and folders.

Re: Firefox web file uploads not working in v.8.0.1.0

Hello, Are you running the latest release of Firefox? I just ran some tests and didn't see any issues with drag & drop or file uploads. Can you refresh/reload the page on the file manager and then try again? If it still fails, open the debug web console in Firefox and tell us what you see when you t...

Re: Lacking features even implemented by smaller companies

Hello Karol,

Security is always our first priority - even for older releases. We only officially support version 8.0, and 7.0, but we still provide security updates for 6.0.

Re: Proxy Settings for Update Checking

Hello Arcam,

Just to re-iterate, this is still experimental. Update checking should work, but downloading the update when it's available might still be a problem through Cerberus. We still need to do some more work on the proxy code for file downloads.
