    Avira antivir detect teh BDS/VB.eov in the setup program of Cerberus 4.8. It is probably just a false positive, but I prefer to wait for your advice before proceeding to installation.

    Kaspersky antivirus find this back-door too (Backdoor.Win32.VB.eov) – it’s not good :(

    F-secure finds it too. I am pretty sure it is a false positive. F-secure fails to “disinfect” the file, and I have shortly after release installed Cerberus 2.48 on my server, and it works perfectly, no reports from my firewall that something unusual tries to get in or out.

    Still, it sounds like a good idea, to have Serin look into it first.

    Hey guys, it’s definitely a false alarm. I have had several reports of a few different virus programs detecting a virus, however, several sites have scanned Cerberus 2.48 independently and can verify it is virus free. I’ve tested with Symantec, McAfee and Avast and they don’t report any issues.
