Our Cerberus instance is installed in our DMZ and the machine has no internet access other than the ports used for FTP communication. It is therefore impossible to use Cerberus’ internal Update function. Unfortunately it is against company policy to give this machine permanent internet access and to temporarily give it access requires change request approval for any firewall changes or moving the VM to a different VLAN with internet access.
To that end, is it possible that there is still a direct link to the updates or an RSS Feed for the most recent version number? We have an enterprise license and are just hoping to make sure we are using the most up-to-date version.

You can always find and download the latest version from the Website. (
I would also suggest signing up for the mailing list (
We don’t send out an email for every update but we do send for major and critical updates.June 13, 2018 at 12:31 am #37807
that downloads link is 404 – Page Not Found
If I visit
https://www.cerberusftp.com/downloadI have to fill out a form in order to download a new version of Cerberus. This process is not conducive to automation.
The mailing list is also not a great work-flow for automation.June 20, 2018 at 11:56 pm #37808
Is there any change to the download page or even account page to allow for automation or keeping Cerberus up-to-date when the machine the instance is installed on doesn’t have internet access?June 21, 2018 at 6:39 pm #37809pacmanParticipant Hello,
There is a new link to bypass having to fill out the form.
Please contact support at Cerberus via the online form for more information.
If you are using the Enterprise Edition there is also an “Upgrade Available Event”
This event is triggered whenever the server detects that a new version of Cerberus FTP Server is available.
