    Hi,

I am trying to set up a FTP site. I am behind a Network Everywhere Router, and I was wondering if anyone can help me to configure it, so that it will work.

Also, in the main window of Cerberus FTP, what should the “status” IP be….The WAN address?…The Router Address??(192.168.1.1)…Or my PC address(192.168.1.100)??? And how can you change it??

Also, what is the “Interface” on that screen…What do that mean?

    Any help will be appriciate,

    Hi Epson-40,

The Status IP should be the IP address of your FTP Server’s PC on your internal network.

    ex. 192.168.0.100

This does not need to be changed to setup your FTP Server.

You need to configure a Virtual Server (D-Link), or use port forwarding (Linksys) on your router for port 21. Use the internal IP address of the computer which Cerberus is running.

Now try connecting with an FTP client to your WAN IP…. ex. 69.22.120.54

I’m not sure how to answer the “inteface” question. Hopefully someone else can shed some light.

    Regards,

    otsoroke
