I want to get via a SOAP-Call the user-informations. But the server crashes every time I use a username from an existing user.
I have add a Webservice-Reference to my project.
This Code ist VB.NET:
Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click
Dim WS As New CerberusFTP.CerberusFTPService
Dim Usr As New CerberusFTP.GetUserInformationRequest
Usr.credentials = New CerberusFTP.Credentials
Usr.credentials.user = “soap-username”
Usr.credentials.password = “soap-passwort”
Usr.UserName = “ftp-username”
Dim UsrR As CerberusFTP.GetUserInformationResponse = WS.GetUserInformation(Usr)
If I call WS.GetUserInformation(Usr) the service on the Server crashes and I must start the service again.
Here is a eventlog-entry:

Thanks for the report, I will check it out.January 24, 2011 at 3:05 am #36069 I’ve confirmed the bug and fixed it. I’ll have an update available in the next day or so.January 24, 2011 at 3:35 am #36070 In the interest of getting you a build as quickly as possible I’ve created a new build identical to the release version but with the GetUserInformation fix.
You can download it from
I haven’t updated the build number yet so uninstall your old version first. All of your users and settings will be preserved.January 24, 2011 at 4:27 pm #36071kairoParticipant
