If it’s working on Filezilla. I would lean towards a buggy client. I would suggest submitting a support request so that they could take a closer look at your logfile.

Those are the API calls for retrieving and settings users and groups
You can technically modify the email template for events, but I recommend against it. Any changes will have to be made every time the server is upgrades. The template files get replaced every time the server is upgraded. However, if you want to make changes to the templates the email template is at:
C:Program FilesCerberus LLCCerberus FTP Serverwebadminemaileventsevent.html
A service restart is necessary after any template changes.
Without seeing your log showing a connection attempt. It sounds like some sort of device on your network is pinging your server. I believe you will need to switch to using a UNC path, and make sure the Cerberus FTP Server Windows Service is running under an account that has permission to access that share. We ultimately went with AD group to Cerberus group mappings, which allow the capability people were asking for with AD user to multiple Cerberus groups. https://www.cerberusftp.com/support/help/active-directory-configuration-scenarios You can map an AD user to a Cerberus group, and you can map AD groups to Cerberus groups. The option comes from shared dialog boxes between Folder and File sharing. We will be improving this in a future release. As far as private file sharing goes, we are thinking about it but it’s not currently on any road map at this time.
Hello, If you only want users to see individual folders, I would try AD group to Cerberus group mappings or AD user to Cerberus group mappings.
