Mapping nested AD groups to Cerberus groups

Post by PFSIT » Tue Jan 23, 2018 11:38 am

Hi everyone

Just a quick question. We're currently using Cerberus v7.

Is it now possible in Cerberus v9 to map nested AD groups to Cerberus groups? We have global AD groups containing the user objects inside of domain local AD groups. I would now like to map such a domain local group to the corresponding Cerberus group. Cerberus should then "crawl" through each group inside that group until it reaches the user objects and then map those to the Cerberus group.

Is that possible now?

Thanks for any help and best regards

Marius

Hello, Marius.

Cerberus does not support any AD group nesting. Currently, there are no plans to add this feature.
