Append Log Entry for Connections with X-Forwarded-For IP

Post by kaluaabyss » Thu Oct 26, 2017 3:01 pm

Currently (9.0.0.6), when a proxied connection is received the log shows something similar to:
Incoming connection request on HTTPS interface x at <local IP> accepted from <proxy IP>

Cerberus is aware of the X-Forwarded-For header which contains the real client IP, but does not indicate it in this log event. Simply adding "for <X-Forwarded-For IP>" to the end of that log line would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

The X-Forwarded header information is collected further down the connection chain.
Cerberus doesn't have that information at the point of HTTPS interface x at <local IP> accepted from <proxy IP> so adding "for <X-Forwarded-For IP>" wouldn't work.
