Different folder structure depending on login method (AD users)

Post by zilch » Thu Nov 19, 2015 8:50 pm

A domain authenticated user can login with either username or username@domain.com, in each case a separate folder structure is created for each method, one is \username the other is \username@domain.com. This is guaranteed to confuse our user base, is there a way to force it one way or another?

We are using version 8.0.0.3 in demo mode prior to purchasing enterprise.

You can enable the "Use UPN For Home Directory for AD" option on the Policy page of the User Manager. This assumes you are using the Global Home\%USER% default virtual directory mapping mode.
