Upgrade from 8.0.0.4 to 8.0.0.5 and failed

Post by pwilcox@cbac.com » Fri Jan 29, 2016 4:49 pm

We get the message Service 'Cerberus FTP Server' (Cerberus FTP Server) failed to start. Verity that yo have sufficient privileges to start system services. We are local admin so that is right. I have made sure the folder we have full admin rights. I have tried to make a local user with admin rights and see if they could start the service. I tried to open CerberusGUI.exe and I get the error can't start b/c MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. OS Server 2012R2 Standard.

We're sorry about this issue. We got it fixed a few hours after release. One of our updated DLLs got linked to the wrong version of a library.
