Profile Save error unable to open users file access denied

I have installed Cerberus v2.50 on my Windows Vista 64 bit PC for pesonal use.. After I startup Cerberus, I create a new user profile and click close to save my user profile but when I click the close button but I receive the following error in the log window:-me

Profile Save error
unable to open users file: access denied

Can any one help me how to to fix this problem?

Where did you get a v2.50? It is currently at v3.0.8, so I would recommend using that one, as 2.50 is hardly compatible with Vista. - I don't even *remember* a v2.50, but if you say you have it, I guess it existed once... :-)

Hello,

2.50 exists and is a minor bug fix release to the 2.X series. It's available off of the download page, though you have to click the "Show Previous Releases" to see it.

Like mdj said, I highly recommend upgrading to version 3.0.8. 2.50 requires admin privileges to function properly on Vista and higher.
