Cerberus Web services, questions about them

Post by Chromebuster » Mon Mar 28, 2011 12:54 am

Hey all,
just one question for you. I couldn't figure out where to put it, so it ended up here. Feel free to move it. I downloaded your example .net soap client project, and I can't figure out what type of web service it is. It doesn't look like an ASMX web service, so it must be a WCF? Please let me know. And is your web administration thingo based on ASP.net? Thanks!

The .NET example is based on a simple .NET 2.0 web service, if I remember correctly. It's been a while since I put the example together. You can also use WCF or just about any other SOAP package to generate a client.

The web administration is not based on ASP.net. It is a custom implementation based off of several other projects.
