Can Cerberus use Microsoft SQl Server to store user info?

Post by Chromebuster » Tue Mar 29, 2011 11:26 pm

Hi again,
I'm just wondering, can Cerberus use either Microsoft SQL server or another external database to store user information and settings? If not, then what database does it use by default? Thanks.

Hello,

Cerberus cannot currently use an SQL database to store users though we are considering adding that capability in the future. Native user accounts are currently stored in a local XML formatted file.

Cerberus can also authenticate against LDAP and Active Directory databases.
