I have a server set up with the latest version of Cerberus and a FTP client that I wrote for backup purposes.
The client I wrote is working very well wxcept for one thing : If the file transfert (sending a file from the client to the server) takes a while either because it's a large file or because the connection is slow, I receive a Read Timed out Error because the connection closed ungracefully.
I use passive mode. Ports 20 and 21 are opened and the standard Cerberus port range is opened (11000 - 13000).
I even unchecked "Use idle connection timeout" in the General tab of the server configuration dialog.
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance.

Your router may be terminating the connection because of inactivity on the control connection. Some buggy routers do this. An ungraceful disconnect usually means the client or some network device between the client and the server terminated abnormally. It probably isn't the server causing the disconnect. It may also be just an unstable network connection.
