Custom developed FTP client? I think I would definitely start there. Look over the FTP protocol again. RFC959.

Try turning FULL logging on in Cerberus. Might help you diagnose your problem.

Hi, I'm in the same problem I mean in cerberus I get somethinglike that:
-----------
Tue Jul 13 23:33:45 2004 Local Interface 2 located at 192.168.1.4
Tue Jul 13 23:33:45 2004 Listening on Port 21

Tue Jul 13 23:33:49 2004 19 Incoming connection request on interface 192.168.1.4
Tue Jul 13 23:33:49 2004 19 Connection request accepted from 192.168.1.4
Tue Jul 13 23:33:49 2004 19 The connection was closed by the remote socket.
Tue Jul 13 23:33:49 2004 19 Error: Socket error while waiting for ready-to-send indicator. Terminating connection.
Tue Jul 13 23:33:49 2004 19 Connection terminated.

----------

I'm using ftp from ftp command line in windows and cute ftp pro.
In cute I see something like that:
---------
STATUS:> Connecting to ftp server 82.223.23.83:21 (ip = 82.223.23.83)...
ERROR:> Can't connect to remote server. Socket error = #10060.
STATUS:> Waiting 30 seconds...

---------

I'm behind firewaal with NAT like that:
----------
NAPT Settings
Nr Type Inside address Outside address Prot State
1 Stat 192.168.1.4:21 82.223.23.83:21 tcp SYN_RECV

2 Stat 192.168.1.4:20 82.223.23.83:20 tcp LISTEN

----------

but I think is something related to the NAT because if I try to ftp local mode (ie ftp 192.168.1.4) it works fine...

can you help me or give any ideas

running 2.16
thanks
gracias
Carlos M
