Folder Automation Events
Cerberus FTP Server’s Event Manager supports folder-based scheduled tasks that allow a user to manipulate every file in a folder without needing to know specific file names. The Scan A Folder action takes in a folder name and generates File Scanned Events for each file in that folder, which can then trigger Event Rules to perform operations on a file.
Administrators can monitor specific folders at customizable frequencies, create rules, and trigger automation based on any specified criteria. Cerberus supports “wild card” automation as well, allowing you to execute automations using any trigger without needing to know the file type or the file name. If you have security or compliance policies, folder automation events help reduce the manual monitoring of tasks.
