The latest release from Cerberus FTP by Redwood enhances IP address access control. Learn more about these security features and how you can easily manage access to your network.

What’s new?

  • IP address validation: Within Cerberus, there are many fields where you can enter an IP address. With Version 2024.3.0, you’ll now be alerted if the IP address is not valid or does not exist, making it easier for you to fix typo errors before trying to use the IP address in a process.
  • Bulk import or export IP addresses from a CSV file: Managing access to your environment is one of the first necessary steps in securing your network, and this is commonly done through allowlisting or denylisting (also known as whitelisting or blacklisting). However, you may need to provide access to or set restrictions for dozens or even hundreds of known IP addresses. You can now easily import or export these IP addresses in bulk from a CSV file to make managing allowlists and denylists less time-consuming.
